Chis Cole Voodoo

Name: Chris Cole Voodoo
Manufactured by: Chris Cole/Shochtech
Airsmith: Mark Davis
MSRP: $899
Date: 2001
Rarity: *****

Since Spaceman wouldn't sell me his, I got my own. This was a package deal I picked up off Ebay, and by the time I sold all the junk off, I got a very good deal on this one making it one of the cheapest in the collection. Talk about under valued.

Sadly, I know little of the history of this gun, what I do know is gleaned from Spaceman, the original website and old forum posts. ShockTech built these in 2001 as a signature series cocker for Chris Cole of Ground Zero. Unfortunately, the relationship soured early in the production and only a very limited number of these were produced. About 40 guns being produced is what I keep hearing, but I have no official confirmation of this number. If so, they are staying in the hands of their owners since they have proven to be one of the most elusive for me to track down.

The MSRP was $899 for the top of the line Voodoo and two other cheaper cockers were also offered, the Honeycomb and Cole series. All three featured Shocktech parts; except for the bolt that was his own design. This was a twist lock bolt and can still be found at G3pb.com (sadly, G3 is closing) for the time being including a new back block. The voodoo featured the reverse P-block while the Cole and Honeycomb had the straight back block. Considering the performance and effort put into this line, it was a very good bargain in the performance realm of the high end Belsales and Shocktechs for a bargin price.
