Another virtually unobtainable gun, I was finally able to find a wraith, in this case, the last wraith body kit. Sadly, it lacks the matching front block and will take a bit of cash to make functional. First off, the body is raw so it needs annoing. Although the wraiths normally came with Jackal 90 frames and all jackal internals, I of course will probably be using a more traditional benchmark slider.
The wraith was a limited run, circa ~03-04 by a company called Dragon Designz. Like so many other custom cocker startups, this one made a very limited run and disappeared. I believe about a dozen were made. I obtained this body from the air smith Chris Martin, who said he would still make them special order if a deposit was made. I have only seen pictures of one complete wraith besides the three on Chris's old site.
Quality of the milling is decent, though unpolished. This is a raw body afterall, and not entirely complete. Sadly, there was no matching front block for it, so I decided for the moment I will use a sonic front block with the centered reg. Its an interesting design and doesn't look too out of place on the gun. Make no mistake, this gun is LITE, its on par with a twister, and might even be liter when finished.
To be specific there were 7 kits made. 1 Red gun, 1 Blue gun, 1 Black gun, 1 Red to black fade, 3 sold as kits. I still own the red and fade guns. 1 body remains, ran on a WGP body, but its a 2nd. The first complete one is the fade one, which has a slightly different back/rear arc and DD etched under it as well as a different shaped back block. A couple of the later ones have a raised DD logo under the arc. All bodies were made on a Taig mini mill in my basement on my spare time. I also give permission for you to use the pictures from my page for your site. www .angelfire.com/mech/apaintballmaster/wraith_pics/wraith.html
