Jeremy Garrett of Jackal Machine, son of Terry Garrett of G3PB created these bodies (some of the best guys ever to be in the business, G3 defined an entire generation of customer service. They officially announced their closing in 2005 to pursue other hobbies, though their limited stock is still for sale. They are sorely missed).

Like the SFL, the RDL's were intended to be an ultralite, milled to barebones design offering in an entire line of custom work. The majority of RDL's produced were mini length, supposedly only four of the fullsizes were made.

Personally, I like the full size's looks better, but I can work with a mini. For a while I resisted getting one (focusing on complete guns rather then kits), however, when this one came up I had just seen an anno pattern I was dying to have duplicated and this is the perfect body for it.

The phase 2 was one of jackals custom kits, this was mainly a show piece, but theres a few that were made into complete guns when they left the shop. Terry was selling off a lot of extra stock on ebay in early 2007 when I picked this one up as a kit. A few other phase 2 and phase 3 kits were also sold at the time. This is a really neat design that I've always wanted to see produced with the large overlapping back block. the big problem with this design is it has a lot of wear points quickly leading to bare metal. I started out with what I had laying around at the time, but have since switched over to a much lower profile lpr.
