As far as iconic anno's of the 90's went, Banzai Green (named for the UK team) may have been one of the most famous. Another ebay find this eclipse splash is a true rarity, in fact Jack Wood was very surprised to see it and had to do some digging to recall it. Although milled in the 90's standarad eclipse style, this was produced towards the very end of the line. Unlike the standard eclipse splash series, this is one of a very limited number of vert feeds milled from a 98 style STO body. The red dot sight was integrated into the milling design. This is one of the few cockers I have picked up in recent years lacking all original parts. According to Jack, this would have had the standard brass eclipse pneumatics of the time, a polished wgp ram and a specially modified wgp 3-way with a WGP or Rock LPR. The intellifeed mod was a neat concept that never really caught on, allowing the hopper to be activated each trigger pull via a microswitch. This is a project gun in that the pneus are not stock and will either be replaced with a modern all black front end or as a restoration to the original brass pneus. According to Jack, Maulden Plating was responsible for Eclipses splash anno's at the time.
