Baseline

This is the baseline image. It was taken without the reducer and with the CCD positioned at the Celestron recommended distance of 5.75" from the back of the Baffle Lock Nut on the OTA. (6.5" from the back of the OTA). The mounting is with the FeatherTouch focuser, which has a rather long (approx. 2.5") adapter between the Lock Nut and the focuser.

The camera chip, an SBIG ST-8300M, is 17.96 x 13.52 mm, per the SBIG site - http://www.sbig.com/sbwhtmls/ST8300.htm . The FOV with the Celestron 9.25" EdgeHD is approx. 20x26.4 arc-minutes.
