Fish scraps dumped by the dock created a frenzy of feeding, and fighting, by the pelicans.




There was lots of tugging to get a piece of fish.





Even when one pelican did manage to get a piece it could rarely swallow the huge chunk, having to hold it in its pouch instead.
As soon as it spit the piece out the fighting between pelicans began again.
