An adult mink had brought a fish back to the young ones. This juvenile seemed to steal the fish away from the others. I could hear crunching as it ate the meal.




This is the fish in question. Unfortunately, I had been looking for the mink, hadn't seen them, and moved closer to the water. Just then a mink ran out of the bushes with the fish to within 3 feet of me. Darn!!! Too close for a sharp shot. Or maybe I was just too slow to react. ;)
