In one of the corners of Todaiji there is a great pillar with a small gap in the base. According to Buddhist lore, if you are able to squeeze through this hole, you'll be blessed with good fortune for the rest of your life.

Unfortunately, I was far too big to slide through...guess I'm doomed!
