U-434, a russian Diesel-electric submarine,once belonging to the nothern Fleet. Completed in 1976, 90 meters long,home to 84 sailors NB This thing is so small, dark and cramped that some pictures are blurry ( no tripod here)I hope they convey my claustrophobic feelings!
