Actually this is a little more historic than I realised; you shot this in April 2010. The plane (D-ACHA, a Bombardier CRJ-200LR) was in the last few months of its work with Lufthansa Regional. Only 4 months later it would be sent back to Bombardier for an overhaul before being sent on to Russian airline UTAir Aviation (albeit under the Bermuda registration VQ-BGV), where it would work for another 6 years before being put into storage in August 2016. So this isn't its LAST flight in Germany... but it was getting very close.
Ah, memories. I miss the old blue on yellow logo for Lufthansa. Granted, it does look a little dated if you look at it objectively, and the new one seems a little more modern... but the old blue and yellow logo just had an air of familiarity to it that is missed.
(Not that I see any in the metal in Australia. Lufthansa only "flies" here as a code-share with other airlines.)
