On my second day in NYC I took the NJ Transit bus into the city and spent several hours at the International Center of Photography looking at a fabulous contemporary Japanese photography exhibit. Mid-afternoon I took the 2nd Ave. bus down to Greenwich Village where I had a dinner date with my photographer friend Erica McDonald. I scooted around the Village for a couple of hours before meeting Erica at La Equina's Taqueria. After a dinner where we never stopped talking, Erica and I took portraits of one another with my camera and then walk/scooted together to the subway and bus. I took the 1st Ave bus uptown to 42nd Street where I got off and scooted to the NJ Transit bus terminal at 42nd & 8th Ave. On the way I saw hundreds of preteen girls waiting overnight to see the Jonas Brothers on the Morning Show at 7 a.m. There was also a brass band performing for free on the sidewalk at 42nd & 7th Ave. CLICK HERE to see "New York City: Day 1."
