a macro winter

After months of global-warmed temperatures here in the Detroit area, winter finally appeared on January 15, 2007. That was when I started taking the photos you see in this gallery. Oh yes, there was another reason I went out in the cold with my camera: we finally saw the sun! All photos posted here were taken with my Canon EF 100mm f/2.8 Macro USM lens.

    great gallery! you seem to like shooting at f10. i personally would make more use of your f2.8 such that the contrast between focused objects and out-of-focus ones is so great that the out-of-focus would just be texture such that attention to the focused ones is even more enhanced.
