I begin my explorations in expressive photography by studying Phil Douglis's Gallery One: Travel Abstractions -- Unlimited Thought. This gallery contains my practice photographs. My intention is to find new ways of picturing the familiar. As Phil would say, less is more. But as a longtime "more-is-more" lover of dramatic images, this is a real stretch for me!
