As part of urban revitalization efforts, a pedestrian walkway was created along an old canal. It's below street level and a bridge carrying a street over the canal and a retaining wall were painted this way. The sides of the bridge and the retaining wall are just painted, flat concrete. It certainly trompe'd my oeil.
