Vintage Kay Acoustic
I know, she's kind of craptacular, but I like the double pick guards. It looks like it's wearing a little tuxedo. My pretty little Kay wall hanger ... that isn't hanging on the wall.

The Lighting Is Weird In The After Life
Just another something silly, playing with Tim Burton's "Corpse Bride" doll and a little PS. The backdrop came with the doll, but I added the shadow. Tim Burton is THE man.
Crashed
He wouldn't settle down until he had his feet firmy tucked under the throw. He is already a comedian and as you can see, one ear is up! What a fun model and only ten weeks old! The soft focus is intentional here ... it makes him look as soft as he really is.
Quincy
He is a nine week old Welsh Pembroke Corgi.

Well, Hello There!
My computer fairy/muse ...
First I photographed the Amy Brown-designed ornament, then decided to practice with PS.
This photograph is dedicated to my friend Kit's sweet daughter, Mary Ellen.
I painted with a low opacity around the neckline of her dress and arm holes, attempting to give the appearance of a sheer fabric on top of her blouse. My son thought it looked like I colored outside the lines, lol, so ... whatever! Another version of her is here:

Three O'Clock on the Farm
Very harsh shadows everywhere! Good and bad, depending on what you're doing, I guess.
Yard Bird
The chicken was NOT cooperating! Played around with in PS to help make her feathers stand out a bit.
Fresh Persimmons
I never tasted a persimmon before, but people were grabbing these things at the store like they were made of gold, so I decided to hog in on the fun and bought a few. They have an interesting taste. The skin is sort of a cross between a tomato and a nectarine, and the flesh of the fruit has a lingering flavor, not unlike melon such as honeydew or cantelope. I think they are quite delicious and very fancy! Believe it or not, the color rendition shown here is dead on ~ this is a very strange fruit indeed! Their color is just plain weird.
I really need to get the heck out of my house ...
An Irrational Moment ...
"I tell the truth 'cept when I lie ~ it only hurts me when I cry."

Garden Spider
This was a challenging shot for me, because for one thing, I am EXTREMELY bug-a-phobic. Also, I was standing on a wobbly step stool, shooting through a wet screen. I like it anyway, because it looks like s/he's saying, "What are you looking at?"
The Breakfast Room
Actually it's just the eating area of the kitchen. This is a dog's eye view. The crop is a bit tighter than I would usually do, but the afternoon light was shining through the window right onto the table, chairs and picture on the wall, and I wanted to capture that. Also, I tried to position the chairs in such a way as to add perspective. I'm not sure it works, but I DO like the room, and didn't shoot anything else today. Tea time!
Mr. Pumpkin Head's Shoe ...
They were so fancy I had to take a shot before he left!
Waiting For Halloween
Mr. Pumpkin Head stopped by for a visit.
House Work
I hate it. I'd rather do ANYTHING. I'm a love-maker, not a HOME-maker! But I can't stand a dirty house, either!
Willa's Home Made Cold Remedy
Fresh, hot chicken soup. It's delicious, even if I do say so myself.
His & Hers
I liked the natural lighting from the window here.
Sexy Shoe
In my favorite colors ...
This shot was very underexposed, so I messed with it in PS and came up with this. I like the shadowing on the shoe. There were no color adjustments to the photo. Taken with the Sony F828 (it was the closest camera on hand at the time). I suppose I could have removed some of the noise, but I liked the noise here.
Just a snapshot ...
This is a 'corn' basket, so it's pretty large. This is the crop for the day, and now they are ripening faster than we can eat them. The round ones are sweeter and juicier than the plum. Not bad coming from a tiny garden, and no pesticides at all! LUNCH! Kudos to the Dios men for their gardening efforts.

I don't know what I'm doing wrong in PS to lose the EXIF data, so I just copied it from the file info in the Canon viewer utility.
Green, still ...
Vegetables by Dios
Geez. I guess it's time to vacuum the garden shed windows/sills...
Putting these things on the windowsill does help them to ripen, rather than leaving them in the garden to the insects ~ and they are really delicious when they're ready, unless you like them breaded and fried. Salad anyone?
Miss Lily
She was very "put out", as she was trying to take her afternoon nap.
I didn't realize the ISO was on 1600! Not too noisy, considering that fact. PS: Levels, USM, and frame
