At mid-day the temperature and heat in Etosha National Park during the dry season
can reach extreme levels. The heat is so intense that it creates a "heat vapor" which
can be easily seen right above the horizon in this picture. This produce "blur" effect
in the pictures resembling either a shallow depth of field or even an added blur
filter in Photoshop.
