During my last trip to the Amazone River at the Amakayaku Park, in the extreme south of Colombia, bordering with Peru and Brazil, we would venture into the jungle in very difficult terrain (deep mud, creeks, hills, dense vegetation, etc.) usually lasting from 4 to 6 hours. We would get back soaking wet and mud up to our hips. This is me recovering and drying out in the sun after a 6 hours walk.
