| Located in the Warehouse district of New Orleans the Riverwalk is a strip of old warehouses that have been renovated into a modern shopping facility. In 1984 when the World Fair came to New Orleans, this facility was built to house exhibits and attractions from many different countries. Once the fair ended, this facility was transformed to a shopping center of over 200 stores. This one mile long marketplace features several chain retail stores as well as many specialty stores. |
