Here are Chrissie's three adorable cubs at different ages. We have three males. These photos are courtesy of Honolulu Zoo. I will add updated pictures as they become available. The cubs are doing great and have had their first check up and needed shots. I can't believe how big they have gotten. They are sooooooo precious!!! I really can't find words do them justice. Update: Almost six weeks old they are doing well. I wish I could see them in real time but as a volunteer I'm still not allowed to do this.:( I only can observe them through our wireless cameras. But I'm very happy that they are doing so well and that's what matters. Update: At seven weeks they are very alert and playful. It looks like they are starting to eat solid foods (ground meat). It is such a delight to see them doing so well. Update: At ten weeks they are still doing great and so energetic. They are starting to show interest in solid food and have been observed licking the ground meat that we feed mom. They should be on public display if everything goes well in mid December. They are now eating ground meat and still nursing from Mom. They are going on public display on December 20th 2008. They did well on their last exam/vaccinations. I will post pictures of them on public display as I get them. Update: The Cubs were released on public display the 20th of December as scheduled. They are having such a great time outdoors. I wish I could post video of them playing but photos will have to do for now. They are approximately thirty pounds each, give or take a few pounds. More to come. Final update: The cubs had their last exam/vaccinations today (1/08/09) and doing great. All our small plants in the exhibit have been trimmed down to a few stumps as the cubs have been attacking them.:) They are really starting to develope distinctive personalities.
