December2204

Customer: "Do you have anymore of these?'
Employee: "No, as you see we are out of stock."
Customer: "Well can you get me one?"
Employee: "I am sorry but my warehouse is out of stock, along with the other stores."
Customer: "But it is in your AD!"
Employee: "Yes and we sold out already."
Customer: "Can you check again!"
Employee: "NOT ONLY NO, BUT HELL NO!"

Some things I wish I could say during the Holidays.

its a good thing that we are closed on sundays! Out of all the Staples stores across the country only a few stores are closed that day and I just happen to be so lucky to work in one of them.

We do leave the tag up if the display is still there.

Wes,
Take a deep breath.
It's almost over, of course the returns start on Sunday!

I always wondered why stores didn't take the sales info off the shelf along with the last item? Two weeks ago I went into Home Depot to buy my son a saw that was on sale and they were gone. But there in big bold print was the deal of a life time that I missed out on. Why must they antagonize the consumer the way they do?

Did you send the guy to Best Buy or is that against the rules? :)

Well, at least be happy that you don't have to pay the prices we do in the UK. Same number but in pounds rather than dollars, and at almost 2:1 exchange rate, that is a lot....

I've had my share of "stupid" customers at gap! Some people just dont understand that we can't magically pop out an item!
