Wes, I do believe this is a merlin as well. I remembered you telling Me that you had a picture of one similar to what we were looking at today but that you had taken it in the winter time. As I look at both pictures, I am sure it's the same bird! The reason you thought this one was bigger is because we MUST have been looking at the fledglings tonight!!
