Whenever I canīt decide where to go for some new shots, local zoos are a good alternative.
There are at least three around here: a big one in my hometown nearby, a small one in the city of Bochum where I live,
and the beautiful Dortmund zoo (where this picture is from), which has a number of rare animals, you canīt see in other zoos.
They are all worth to visit and good places to relax as you can see.

I suppose as a grandfather I will have to visit our local zoos more frequently in the near future (LOL).
