31-Mar-2005: We're having one of the largest migrations of painted lady butterflies. On my 45 minute walk to work today, I saw easily hundreds, and probably thousands of them. There were dozens of them almost every time I looked out my window.

2-Apr-2005: Two days later, and there are still a lot of them around. We found a bush near La Jolla Cove that was apparently their very favorite!
