Mr. Lincoln amazed us today. He'd been a bud for over two weeks, and felt sluggish opening up. I was joking that he was saying "what am I doing here, it's almost Christmas". Well, today he suddenly decided it was a beautiful day, and he might as well enjoy it. I think the bushy little Honey Perfume was adoring him for being so tall and strong (he's about 7 ft tall and I had to stand on a ladder to take his portrait), and that must have boosted his self-esteem!
