This overlook provides a good view of the river. On the right is Mexico. A few miles North is the Boquillas Crossing, an authorized entry point from the US to Mexico at a town named Boquillas del Carmen. This crossing has been closed for many years and just recently reopened. The river crossing to Mexico is by rowboat.
