Wayne, this gallery is proof positive that you don't need a costly high megapixel digital SLR to take great pictures. You've given visual evidence that the most important aspect of good photography is the person behind the camera. Well done!

I've been looking for a best camera for my needs and when I visited your gallery, I knew that was it! I bought one about year and half ago and I'm more than satisfied! I think I got you figured out, You are using one of those 5000.00 dollar (US) cameras I read about!. Just kidding. Wayne these are still excellent photographs. I also bought the C-770 based on your gallery here. I also emailed Olympus again about the FL36 flash unit. This time I sent them a link to your gallery on pbase and told them to have a look because, if not for your photos, I would probably be a Canon dRebel owner by now. One question for you. With your talent, have you concidered shooting Infrared with your C-770 (if it will do it). I live in Kansas and there is not much to shoot here unless you like corn and hay fields (my opinion anyway). I am from Eastern Tennessee and used to go to Colorado all the time to take photographs (with Canon 35mm film camera).

Truly amazing pictures of our city. You have a gift. I am seriously considering this camera, and depite some negative comments about it regarding the lack of image stablization, you truly make a liar out of them. I am going to place my order tommorow! I am wondering if these are "raw" photos? Have you touched them up in Photoshop?
