That magnolia tree was huge. I trimmed a lot of the lower branches off shortly after we moved in to show the house off more. I also cut down the 2 tall cedars just to the right of the magnolia. Whoever planted this area originally didn't allow for growth. The property line is actually just in front of the magnolia. All of the grassy area is right of way.
