Here's what we've done to this area so far. We got rid of the drapes on the windows and went with double cell shades. Cindy found a great deal from Bali with a closeout fabric and we ended up putting these in all the rooms. The yellow walls were painted a slate green and the accent wall to my left was painted a gold color. At first we had the dining area set up as a sitting room, but having it as the dining area was more practical. We also added a ceiling fan to the living area.
