Thank you Sadaqat Sahab for the appreciation, I feel that the hierarchy of this trip needs to be changed because in some folders the photos are 3-4 steps down in the tree... But I'll lose many comments... I guess "status-quo" rules :) and my laziness agrees :)

Yep I got my first DSLR (Pentax K100D) about a month ago, but I haven't uploaded any pics from it yet, been busy, and I'm on dial-up, that's why... Also, the learning curve is a bit steep, and I'm trying to find out whether it's the 18-55 kit lens or me that is to be blamed for the undesired pics I'm getting :) I've already shot some 2200+ pics (mostly testing, playing with the camera, but some were taken at Lahore Fort etc), and I'm sure at least a few dozen are half-decent pics that I can upload, I have to sift and then I'll upload, maybe a few more days. Don't worry, I'll post you the link as soon as I do it.

Waqas, How did I miss these pictures when I browsed through your galleries last time. They are great pictures. I wish I have had travelled this much in my own country. Great photos, thanks for sharing and keep it up. It has been few months that you posted new pictures. Did you get your new camera (KD100?). I am eager to see your work with the new camera.

Yaar any decent camera can take good pictures provided it's in good hands. A camera is just a tool, you just need to know how to use it. Now I'm not saying that I'm an excellent photographer :P but I'm a tech-Junkie, and unlike most guys I'm more interested in taking pictures of interesting subjects rather than "hey, take my photo". And I had very beautiful scenes to capture here!
These pictures were taken using an Olympus C2100UZ (10x optical zoom, Image Stabilization, 2 megapixels), I sold it in 2003, then last year I bought Panasonic FZ1, but only because it was 12x zoom, it didn't have manual controls, a few months later I sold it and bought FZ15 (12x optical, IS, 4mp)http://www.dpreview.com/news/0407/04072107panasonicfz15.asp and I'm very happy with this camera...
