Panoramas at Rakaposhi's base camp

I have uploaded the individual images as well as the stitched Panoramas.

I had one and a half day to spend at this place, which was isolated from the main town. These were of the five days that I had to manage without any recharging of batteries, since there was no electricity. I had a limited energy of batteries, had little choice about the time to take the pics, coz I had to manage the packing of the camps and cooking the food as well.

really, very impressive pictures. I will be there March 2007.
End of May 2007 you will see my pictures. My concern: the glacier will be shrinked down.

great pictures, i had a arm chair tour of the most beautifull scenery in te world., thanks to the hard work of mr. usman. please post all of your collection , you take great pictures.

Thanks Tim, I have come a long way since then, I did spend a lot of time on perfecting these, searching for better and better tools :)

Rakaposhi is one of the beautiful mountains of Pakistan, if not the world, it has a very steep slope, and looks amazing from the Hunza valley as well as from its foot...

I wish I could go back there again and get more shots from more angles, and more hi-res ones... but I haven't been able to go back to this place yet.

It was only a few months since I had had it, and it was my first camera with manual controls. I had not learnt how to lock all settings manually by that time, and no special pano mode was available (even though the camera had a pano mode where it locked all settings manually, but it was disabled for non-Olympus cards :~( ).
