Today's sky is so nice, both day and night. See more in the sun-down gallery.

Phil, a person would be nice, but I think a light and house can provide the incongruity and human values also. Or a car driving by is better:http://www.pbase.com/image/60112719 ?

When I first saw this image, I thought that it showed a small person looking at a vast sunset. It was overpowering in terms of scale incongruity and well abstracted -- and rich in human values, too. Awe was written all over this image. Alas, a closer look shows that the person I saw was actually a street light. The image becomes an exercise in lovely form, but lacking in incongruity and human values. I think I saw a person there because I wanted so much to see one there. (One technical suggestion -- avoid posting file numbers in titles.)
