I seem to like this one better than the previous one

The other one is closer to the viewer and thus feels much hotter and that is the whole point of the image. Heat. I much prefer the noise -- it gives it more of a dreamlike quality. And finally, it is more abstract. It makes the viewer think and feel more than this one, which is much more descriptive. The only thing this one has going for it is the green crown over the embers. And that crown is just as effective in the other one.

It has less noise. Probably a less confusing dream.
