Riding back to town on the back of a moto (after watching the sunset at the nearby mountain) we came upon about 100 of these lighted contraptions along the road, several kilometers out of town. I asked my driver to stop and we visited with this group for awhile. It turns out that they were "catching crickets" for sale in the local and Phnom Penh markets. Small crickets bring about 2500 Riels a kilo and large crickets bring about 10,000 Riels (about $2.5).
