The Plaça de l'Abat Oliba courtyard at the base of the majestic Montserrat mountain peaks. On the right, the stone-façade building houses the entrance to the renowned Museum of Montserrat (Museu de Montserrat), displaying colourful letters over its arched entryways. Looming directly behind it is the imposing, terracotta-striped Cel·les Abat Marcet complex, which has provided self-catering apartments for pilgrims and modern tourists visiting the monastery since the 1960s.
