The monumental Santa Maria de Montserrat Abbey facade faces the spacious Plaça de Santa Maria courtyard. Completed in 1968 and designed by architect Francesc Folguera, the striking stone structure features a grand bell tower alongside three soaring upper arches decorated with intricate relief sculptures depicting historical and biblical scenes.
