Centuries of local tradition captured in bronze at Bonn’s Martinsbrunnen (St. Martin's Fountain). Originally built in 1902, this lively fountain tells the history of the St. Martin's Day harvest traditions, when local tenant farmers paid their annual land leases with fattened geese. Though lost during WWII, it was recast and rebuilt in 1958.
