The Providence Church (German: Providenzkirche) is a historic Protestant baroque church located on the bustling Hauptstraße in the old town of Heidelberg, Germany. Built initially between 1659 and 1661 by Elector Charles I Louis, it was completely burned down during the War of the Palatine Succession in 1693, then rebuilt in its current baroque style between 1715 and 1721. It was remodeled in the late 19th century to feature a bright, light-filled interior.
