The Pont du Stierchen over the Alzette River is viewed from the hill above. The bridge is part of the Wenzel wall, built in mid-15th century to include the Grund and the Rham Plateau into the defense ranks of the city of Luxembourg. It originally has two towers but one was destroyed in the 17th century.
