At a height of 66 meters (216 ft), the Oslo City Hall building was designed by architects Arnstein Arneberg and Magnus Poulsson. Its construction was completed in 1950, after an interruption by the Second World War. The Nobel Peace Prize award ceremony is held in this building every December.
