The trip to Morzhovoi was one of the highlights of my year in Alaska. On our last night, the sun created a spectacular scene as it slowly moved under the horizon. The descending orb lit up the sky and the freshwater lake near the lagoon. Through the years, I have told many people about this experience in the awesome Alaska wilderness. I am extremely grateful for this and my other photos that jog my memory so I can relive such an amazing trip.
