While at Cold Bay I was charged with creating a new Commander's Briefing. This slide was from the briefing that was replaced. Elmendorf was the Air Force Base at Anchorage. Cold Bay was near the tip of the Alaska Peninsula, a distance of about six hundred miles from Anchorage as the crow flies.
