From a WWII jeep trail two thousand feet up on the side of Frosty, one could see the bay, airport and town below. Mt Pavlov, an active volcano, was across the bay and to the left. It could not be seen that day because of the cloud cover that was ever so present. My friends and I traveled this trail frequently as we explored the great outdoors of this part of Alaska.
