Frosty was the mountain that dominated the Cold Bay landscape. It was nearby and provided much of the recreation for many of us, both townsfolk and airmen. I four-wheeled, hiked, hunted, fished, photographed, and camped overnight on the slopes of Frosty. Stepping outside of the composite building, one could see Frosty towering over the treeless tundra.
