We took a two day mini-vacation to Fort Bragg on 7/18/2014 and visited the Botanical Gardens just south of town on highway CA-1. All photos were taken with a Canon EOS 7D. Several shots were taken with a 70-300mm f/4-5.6 L IS lens and the rest were done using my trusty old 100mm f/2.8 macro lens.

I will admit that, for the most part, I have no idea what the names of these flowers are. I do know that there are a lot of dahlias in the photos. I was going to photograph the small signs next to each flower, but soon forgot about doing that. Anyway, just enjoy the pictures!!!

If you are ever in the Fort Bragg area and enjoy plants & flowers in general, this place is a must-see.
