Yes, I missed Shinjuku. But we were able to go down the hill, into Kao Hsiung. I don't remember if we walked or rode.
We must have walked because I just can't see several guys, going their own way, meeting at a specific time for a ride back up the hill. I remember walking at least part way down the hill where we passed a temple (see one of following photos).
If i recall correctly the Taiwanese beer had bits of twigs or leaves in the bottom of the bottles.

When I heard Macs-1 was going to Taiwan I missed not being with the old Macs-1 radar and radio gang, but that was brief because I was two weeks late enrolling in Fresno City College and had much catching up to do.
