This melting-snow-swollen river flowed right past our hostel, appropriately called The Boathouse, pictured to the left. As I stood on the deck in front of the hostel, I was showered in puffs of white from dandelions (pampeliska) giving off their fluffy seeds, carried by the wind. It was pretty cool. Like summer snow.
