Bulgaria is not xenophobic. Bulgaria is an ethnic paradise compared to many other states in the world. There are many Armenians here, also Russians, Greeks, Jews, Turks - you name it. Including few thousand permanent English residents who as of late are buying properties like crazy. Did you know that during World War Two, Bulgaria and Danemark were the only two european countries that didn't send their jewish citizens to concentration camps in Germany and Poland? Did you? Why don't you write a story aboput that?

The gypsies will have to integrate into the mainstream society. I am sorry, but you can't live a 15th century life-style in a 21th century country. Even if you are a gypsy.

You never went to Bulgaria. Going to Bulgaria and taking pictures of gypsies is like going to New York and taking pictures of black junkies in the Bronx exclusively! And let me tell you pal, those junkies are a lot scarier and sorry looking bunch than any hardcore bulgarian gypsies i've seen. I know that for sure!
