Oil tankers wait south of the San Francisco Bay Bridge to deliver crude
to the refineries in the Carquinas Straits about 10 miles north
and eventually, smog is created.
Prevailing winds normally sweep the Bay of air pollution, but no wind
can create a "Spare the Air" winter's day which this was.
The Giants Stadium (AT&T Park) is on the shore in the foreground and I'd
really like to know what that huge unmarked vessel is that is docked nearby
and dwarfs the stadium in size.
