The Sargan's Eight

The Sargan's Eight is a part of old narrow gauge railroad which was connecting Belgrade with Sarajevo and Dubrovnik.
Railrod was built 1921-1925.
Nowadays, Mokra Gora Station and The Sargan's Eight are re-built
(Emir Kusturica's movie " The Life is Miracle", recorded here, helped also)
and many tourists are visiting it.
Mokra Gora is 45 min driving from Zlatibor.

Totally fantastic!!! This is THE best collection of railroad pictures I have ever seen. And the narrow gage is even better. Beautiful country, beautiful railroad. Thank you so much for sharing this.

Fascinating pics. Do any of the locomotives still run?
I live in Indiana, USA, and my grandfather was a mail car guard on the steepest standard gauge railroad east of the Mississippi River. I've ridden the narrow gauge RR from Durango Colorado to Silverton, Colorado, and the gear drive RR that runs up Pike's Peak, Colorado.

Molim vas recite me koja je stanica u pitanju u onoj slici gde se prikazuje 'trolley'? Pitanje postavljam zato sto hocu da utvrdim stanicu na kojoj je Kusturica snimao film, a Mokra Gora i Jatare ne odgovaraju opisu. Pozdrav
