On Feb 3 2007 the Middlesex Middle School team won 1st place in the S-W Connecticut chapter Mathcounts competition. From left to right: Charlie Khachian (reserve member), Cameron Wong, Michael Ying, William Juan (4th place in countdown and 4th individual place), Daria Kushnir (coach) and Michael Kushnir (captain, 2nd place in CountDown and 1st individual place).
